WL or BWI or possibly POFQ?

Hi everyone,
We are thinking about a quick trip (for us) in January. We usually stay a week or more, this trip would 4 nights.
Past trips, we have done Poly (fave), CR, POR and Pop Century.

For this trip- we are thinking WL (for the location/boat), BWI (for the walk-ability) or POFQ (good room rate).
We do not plan to be in the room that much- we RD and close the park.

It's me, DH and 2 kids (11 and 13).
Any opinions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks everyone!

Thanks Dawn!
I am so torn because it is a good savings (about $1,000) and it is a quick trip and a "last minute" trip (we always plan like a year in advance) so the room is really to sleep. But I do like convenience with the kids. I am trying to get myself to do something different though!

If you will not spend time in the room or use the resort amenities, I would do POFQ. I love BC, but for less than $1000, you could use Minnie Vans from POFQ every day and still come out with a substantial savings. Other than the boat to MK, WL busing is not great, IMHO as it typically shares with Ft. W. When staying at WL, we uber/lyft/Minnie Van everywhere except MK. POFQ is lovely. I would save your money!

For us on a quick trip, our goal is to maximize our time. IMO, BWI is the best option for this since you can walk to two of the four parks. That saves you time and adds a lot of convenience.

Which parks do you plan to spend the most time at? If EPCOT and HS, then BWI is hard to beat for convenience.
If you will spend a lot of time at MK, Wilderness is a good option. The bus system there is not great.
POFQ is a bus ride to everything.
But, if you will not be in the room or resort much except to sleep, the money savings at POFQ is an easy choice. It is not as nice as the other options, but if you aren't using the amenities there, why pay for them.

gharter- it's a short trip so 1 day per park- possibly skip AK this trip and do MK twice. I like the Poly for the convenience to MK/Epcot but way too expensive for our dates. We have done CR before too.
I like the walk-ability of BWI but since my kids like to RD Epcot for TT- then coming in at IG entrance doesn't really help- I don't think.
We tend to uber/taxi in the morning so we do not have to wait for the buses.

I am so torn! The $1,000 saved with POFQ almost covers the airfare.

If you RD and close the parks, I would stay in the cheaper option. You're not going to get the benefits of the more expensive resorts other than a larger room, that you won't be in that much.

POFQ is a beautiful resort and smaller than the others you have stayed at or are looking at. That's a big selling point for us - not a bad building at that one, IMO. You do loose a TS restaurant though so if that is important to you it's something to keep in mind.

If it were me, I'd do POFQ and use the money for airfare.
