Can anyone tell me what room # they had with a King Bed? My wife and I will have a courtyard view at the end of the month and definitely want to try and get a room with a King Bed (and regular tub/shower, if possible). It's our 5th anniversary present to each other. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'd love to know the answer to this, too. We're going in November to celebrate our 25th - congrats to you on your first 5! When I reserved, I told CRO we needed a non-smoking room for medical reasons, and that we were celebrating an anniversary. She told me she was "putting us in" a king bed room, and that non-smoking would be guaranteed since we have a medical excuse. But when the confirmation came, it noted our non-smoking "request," and didn't mention the king bed at all. So it would be great to know specifically what rooms have king beds.

I'm confused about why room requests at Disney are so confusing!

We are also celebrating our 5th anniversary by taking a trip to the Wilderness Lodge @ WDW! We are going in Sept., and our confirm. says King, woods view, smoking. All smoking rooms are on the 6th floor, north side, I think. I also asked for a reg. tub. I've wondered if all this is possible or not.

Anyone have any answers.

Thanks for your help!

I was wondering about this as well. There seems to be conflicting information regarding the king room/bathtub issue.

A few months ago, there was another post dedicated to this subject and the general concensus was that there were a couple of king rooms with full tubs, but the majority have the roll-in showers.

I called the resort and asked a woman at the front desk about this and she said that "all King rooms have roll-in showers", so I mentioned the information I found on this site, and she sarcastically repeated "all King rooms have roll-in showers".

If anyone has stayed in a King Bed room with a standard bathtub, I'd love to know the room number :p

We stayed at the Wilderness this past June and had the elusive king Room. I think the number was 1131 but don't hold me to it. It was a first floor room close to the Pool and next to the stairwell and elevator so it had full potential for being noisy, but we lucked out and it was actually quiet. The room had the walk in shower which reminded me of a gym locker room type shower. The shower head was a hand held unit that needed a little coaxing to stay up in a reasonable facsimile of a standard shower head. Overall it was worth it to have the king bed. We made our king request with CRO when making the original reservation and did not do a follow up fax or call and the room was waiting for us. Don't know if this helps at all.....steve c

We just got back from the WL last week, we had rm #4037--king size bed with a regular tub/shower. It was also a courtyard view.
Hope this helps--have a great time!!
