WL Jan-Feb, anyone else!

Just curious if there are others staying at the Wilderness Lodge end of Jan til Feb 5th. I have twins almost 6. It would be nice to see some DIS people there to say hi to.

My DH and I will be there during your dates. I'm going to try to track down something lime green. Maybe, a Mickey Head from Home Depot? No kids with us this trip.

I plan to visit with anyone I can. Twins should be easy to spot.

We will be at the WL 1/30-1/5. I will be with my two young kids. My daughter is almost 4 and my son is 5 1/2. They look a lot a like so I am always asked if they are twins. If I see someone at the lodge with twins I will say hello. Hopefully its you so others won't think I'm a weirdo. My husband and I have dark hair and my kids are blondes. We all have strong Boston accents. This will also be our first time at the WL. Enjoy your stay.

We will be at the WL from Feb 2-Feb 9. I will look for twins!! We have one little girl age 6 1/2 with us (our 21 year old is now married and no longer travels with us )

So...if you see a family of three with a little girl, look at the left calf of the dad, if you see a tattoo (a 9/11 memorial) THAT'S US!!!

We'll be there for a short Mardi Gras trip (Feb.4-8). It's me, my DH and DS6.
It's our first time at WL...and we're sooooo excited! Hope to see lots of lime green all over!

Oh How fun!! Okay, I don't know about the lime green--is that a "board" color? I have some lime green in my wardrobe.

My twins are B/G and both have really blond hair--It would be great to have some company while we are there at poolside even for the kids to play! I love meeting new people!
We are really looking forward to staying at WL...After looking and researching everything about all the resorts, I made the decision for WL...seems more family like, but I think it is all a preference.
I am going to see if I can get a picture up here somewhere!

We will be there 1/31 - 02/05. We do not have any children, but I would love to say hi to a fellow diser! Twins will be easy to spot. Just look for the 37 year old acting like a 9 year old....errr...wait, that's most of the people my age I do have a lime green shirt. So look for me. I'm planning on buying my Goofy ears this trip. So, I'll be in a lime green shirt, wearing Goofy ears (I'm so looking forward to this trip.) What other place on this earth can a 37 year old woman, wear goofy ears and not get a second look? Well, I might get a second look, but then the question after the look would be.."Oh man, I've always wanted a pair, where did you buy those?"

Okay, I will need to check out the Goofy ears..Thought the mouse ears are cute but Goofy....that HAS to be over the top!! I cannot WAIT, I want to be there NOW.

We will be at the WL Feb 4th to the 12th. We are having a Grand Gathering so we have a group of 32 with 13 children (ages 1 1/2 to 13). We can't wait, it will be our first time staying at the WL.

Lime green is supposed to be one of the ways to identify a Disser (sp?). I have spoken to some really friendly folks at WDW, but when I asked it they had heard of the disboards, they gave me this really blank look. Sigh.

Anyway, the lime green should make it easier to id a fellow disboard person.

By the way, cute kids Dchef!

Your kids are absolutely adorable! I will be at the WL from Jan 26th-29th...will you be there then? I have a DD6. Also...are you a chef? I am a "home chef" and dining at Disney is the highlight of the trip for me! I really enjoy Jiko and Boma at the AKL. I also enjoy dinin at Epcot.

Anyway...i do not have anything lime green but if I know you will be at WL the same time as us I will look for you!

DH and I will be on our first trip to WL from Jan 30 - Feb 5th and can't wait. I'll try to find something lime green but will also keep my eye out to say Hello to other DIS'ers.

We are arriving at the WL on the afternoon of the 27th and leaving on the 5th so a full week for us!
To answer your question:
I was a Pastry Chef before I had the twins and I did Saute for awhile in a decadent 60seat restaurant ( those at lease are the highlights) It was great while it lasted--Now I have another job! Maybe someday I will return or open my own.

Dchef-Cool! I have thought about culinary school to study pastry, but afraid that my expanding waistline will expand further! LOL!

You get sick of the smell---trust me! I was at my lowest wieght while working and NOW...Post twins I am so over the top and still blaming it on my "twin pregnancy".
The professional kitchen is hard and I don't miss the pressure and stress of it at all. Now my stress consist of having enough variety of cookies around for everyone...ahhh such is mother hood!
