WL here we come!!

Looking out and seeing what a miserable rainy day it is here in NY, I'm oh so comforted in knowing that in 5 days we'll be arriving at the WL for our first ever trip to WDW!!

I can't believe that it's almost here!! We're surprising our 2 DD (ages 5 & will turn 8 during the trip) on Friday morning as we wake up to drive to the airport. I've started packing, and it somehow all seems so unreal...
it's hard to believe I started reading these boards and planning back in Jan.-and now it's finally almost here!!!!

How exciting! You are going to LOVE the lodge!!

How long are you staying? I'll be at WL on Dec 6 & 7th! I'll be the one sitting by the fireplace on the fourth floor with a brownie and a book!

We'll be there from 12/3-12/11. We'll be the ones who keep bumping into things as we're looking up and admiring the beauty of the lodge!

I'm sooo excited!! Right now, I'm just as excited to tell my daughters as I am to be there!!
It looks as though we'll have pretty nice weather-the 10 day forcast shows temps in the mid-high 70's with most days as partially sunny (a fun days with scattered showers, but only 40%). Anything is better than it is here today!!

What a fantastic surprise.

We'll be eating dinner at WL this coming Friday. WL is my favorite resort at the holidays. I was disappointed not to be able to stay there this time, but at least we are eating there and can look at all the decorations. The past couple of days I've been watching our Christmas vacations on tape from the WL in 2000 and 2002.

You'll have a wonderful time at WL. We are staying at OKW Dec. 1-6, but will visit WL Sat. evening for the sleigh ride. I can never go to WDW without visiting WL.

The Wilderness Lodge is a wonderful resort.. and what a great surprise for the kids!!

We'll see you Friday. We arrive tomorrow night for our first trip to the Lodge. Our DD turns 5 Wed. she will be suprised when we take her to dine with Cinderella that evening. Bringing our DS8 & DD2 also. Surprising them with tickets to MVMCP Thurs. MGM Fri. night. I can't wait they have no idea we are going. When we get in the car my son will know right away we're off to Disney. I have nothing packed.

We will not be arriving until the 17th. please save some brownies for us.LOL.......We were soooooo lucky to get rooms at the Lodge. it is the most beautiful resort at Christmas, IMHO.........
