WL deluxe room prices

Happy New Year everyone! I'm planning a pre-holiday trip for next Dec (approximate dates are the 7th through the 14th). It's a special "thank you for everything you've done for us over the years" trip for my parents, and my husband and I are really excited. We want to go deluxe, cuz this will probably be a one time only thing. I looked at room rates here on the Dis, and a deluxe room at the WL (gives us a seperate sleeping area without having to get 2 rooms) are listed at $505/ night. Kind of an ouch, but maybe (who am I kidding--definitely an ouch, but still maybe!) However, when I go on the Disney website, this same room ends up listing at $555/ night. Am I missing something? Doing something wrong? Also, could someone clarify something for me: are these rooms the same as the jr suites described on allearsnet? The configuration seems the same, but those rooms don't appear to be at club level, and club level isn't a requirement for us.

The $505 may be the price for value season and the dates you entered are not during that time.

It's the $25 a night charge for each extra adult. If you have four adults in the room it's $50 more every night. This charge threw me too when my oldest turned 18 and I started typing in three adults, because they don't itemize the online price - they just give you a lump sum. I had to call CRO and it took them 5 minutes to figure out it was the extra adult charge.

Two ways to avoid that charge - get two regular rooms adjoining instead, or a 1-bedroom villa. The villas don't charge for extra adults.

I wondered this too. Is the Deluxe room the same as the Junior suite?

Yes, the deluxe room and the junior suite are one in the same We just returned from there. My pics are a few pages back by now
And the concierge level service is included with this room type.

It's my understanding that because the suites are designed to fit more people, they are exempt from the additional adult charge. I would definitely question this. It certainly wouldn't be the first time that the Disney online site had an error.
