WL Courtyard or Woods view?

Ok our first trip to WL this Dec. Which is better Woods view or Courtyard view I'm so confused. I think I have Courtyard view reserved but not sure can't find my info. Paying $199 night whichever view it is. So any of you been to WL please help. Thanks.

WE have courtyard reserved, $169 on Oct. 6-9. I used BAT code. I also called and requested "inner" courtyard so that we could see the pool area. We'll see if it works...............

I got a AAA rate but can't remember it it's woods or courtyard. Just wondering which better I know courtyard rack rates costs more so they must be better rooms. I can book online at a .com company woods view like $149. I have to call Disney Tuesday see what I have.

OH...of the two views Inner Courtyard View would be the best...But some Woods Views can (may) have a view of the castle and viewing of Wishes Fireworks.

Are you going early or late December?
If early, I think you may be able to get a better rate than the $199, no matter what the view, especially since you live in FLA according to your given city.
There is a FLA resident code (EWO I think) that is good for now to December except for around Thanksgiving. Not sure what those rates are but probably around $150-170 or so for Woods/Courtyard view.

We recently stayed in room 3030 Woods view (free upgrade from standard w/out asking ) and it was a peaceful relaxing view of the "pond" on that side of the WL and the Contemporary (through the trees). I will try to post pics of the view in the WL Faq thread eventually

Thanks all. We are going 11/30-12/5 no discounts through Disney avail. because Thurs. - Sat. sold out. Can get on a .com sit but I"ve never booked through one can't make any requests.

I got a rate of $149.00 courtyard view from Dreams Unlimited. I wanted a standard view but this was all that was left. I had tried Disney, Expedia and hotels.com. I needed 2 rooms for the Thurs., Fri, Sat. before Thanksgiving week.

We have stayed at WL twice and love the courtyard view. I usually request the "inner courtyard" and love being right by the waterfall on an upper floor. Whatever view you end up with will be wonderful because you will be at Wilderness Lodge!!! Can you tell it's my favorite?

We stayed Courtyard on our first trip, inner courtyard, 5th floor over the trees and waterfall. Very nice view.

We are doing Woods view this year ($139 a night, AP rate) with the request of an upper level MK view. (Even if the request isn't filled, we can't go wrong with WL!)
