WL bunkbeds

I read that the WL does not want kids under the age of 6 on the top bunk. My son will be 5 1/2. Are thay strict about this? My husband wants me to check although I don't think that it will be a problem.

We just stayed there nov 27-dec 4th and DD whose 4 and a half slept on top with no problem. I didn't see a sign that said anything about kids under 6 being on top. There was a sticker on the end of the bed which talked about the ladder, but I didn't read it all the way through. There are rails on either side of the top bunk. As long as your son isn't the type to jump off the top of the refrigerator, or is a VERY restless sleeper, I'm sure he'll be fine. My kids were so tired at the end of the day they just passed out anyway.

I appreciate your concern, but you know your child best to know if it is appropropriate that he/she sleep on the top bunk...I highly doubt you will get in any trouble with the "room police" or the "bunkbed monitors"...

I think they are probably more concerned about little babies or toddlers being way up there on the top bunk than a 5-1/2 year old...

Trust your judgment...I'm sure everything will be ok...

LOL. Thanks guys. My husband was just afraid that they might give us a hard time at check in. I will try to avoid the bunkbed monitors at all costs.
