WL - Bunkbed question

I have a friend who's staying at WL in February. She's booked with a standard room. Her TA has requested bunk beds, which she does know she's not guaranteed. But are they even in the standard rooms??

I've heard different stories on this but I was there in September and yes, bunkbeds were in standard rooms. We had them and our room was definitely one of the standards.

I've mentioned this before, but even if you're booked standard its worth it to ask about bunks at check-in. I did, in August, and was pleasantly rewarded with a beautiful courtyard-view upgrade with the bunks.

It never hurts to ask; worst that happens is they say no.

It is my understanding that they are phasing out the standard room with bunks. They have them now, there is no guarantee they will have them in 2006. Again, bunks are a reguest not a guarantee. Plan accordingly.
