WL Background music loop has changed

Was just there (Sunday 6/3/07). I couldn't believe my ears. Its new, most of it sounds like the environmental music heard in the gift shop. I also heard the theme song from "American President" woven in there. I confirmed it with a Front Desk CM, who, when I asked, he said.."Yeah, we know, it happened about three weeks ago, it took us a couple days before we even realized it, since we're so used to it. He went on to say many guests have noticed and they (The CM's) have no idea why its changed!!

IT"S AWFUL! We were there from May 19th to the 26th. It was one of the first things my husband noticed. As he loves the WL music. Especially loves hearing it for the first time walking through those huge magestic lobby doors. Now it sounds like generic elevator music. Some soft jazz..some violin...and my son swears the mighty ducks music is played at one point. As much as we enjoyed our trip..and love the WL..we missed the old music. Don't know whose idea it was to change it..but it stinks!

That is terrible. I'm very, very sorry to hear it. That music was half the fun of being there, IMO. I always talk about it when recommending the place.

Oh no! I love the original background loop- I wonder why they changed it? Time to load the old one on my iPod, and just walk around with headphones on!

Nooo!! One of my main reasons for wanting to go back to WL next year is the atmosphere. And the music is a huge part of that atmosphere.

Maybe they'll change back if enough people tell them they don't like the new loop. I have the original play on my desktop with a montage of photos from the Lodge. Love to hear and see it.

This is a great Idea...
Does anyone have an email address...This has worked with other changes at WDW...Maybe it will work with the music...

I knew it!!!! When we were there last month I told my DH that the music didn't sound the same.

That's so sad!! I loved the old music..

Great.... I guess we'll have to take our WL music CD with us in two weeks to make up for it!!!
