WL activities/dinners

This will be the first time at WL (single dad with two sons, 9 and 13). Please tell us about the marina (how much are the water mice) and the Whispering Canyon dinner.

First, WELCOME to the DIS!!!!

The water mice are somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 for an hour, $20 for half hour.

You will love the Whispering Canyon, a fun place to eat. I can't speak for all the dishes since the only thing I get is the Skillet; all you can eat Rosemary chicken, pulled pork and ribs with corn, beans, cornbread and such (man I cannot wait until July). If you go, be sure you ask for Ketchup!

I 2nd, Welcome to the Dis!

Renting the little water mice from the marina is fun! My dh loves it! I do believe you need to be 14 to go out alone.

You can also rent bikes, regular, 2 person, and surry. There is a paved path between WL & FW. Your ds's might enjoy this too! Just don't go after dark as it's not lite.

Whispering Caynon's is fun. The food is reasonable priced and plentyful.

It sounds fantastic---any suggestions how to upgrade a room from a standard to something "higher"?

Whispering Canyon is wonderful with children. It is a great place and the skillet is great. DH loves it. THe restaurant is a good place for children, the sign in front of the WC says it all-

We're loud and we like it that way!
