Wknd Crowds @ Epcot w/ Food/Wine Fest

We usually take Saturday as an off day on our trips. Then we usually spend Sunday's at Epcot. It seems as though Epcot has been pretty quite lately, even on a Sunday. I am currently trying to plan our next itiniary. The Sunday would be: Sunday 11/2. Only a few weeks after Mission Space opens, also during the Food & Wine Fest.

I am wondering if anyone thinks the crowds will be heavier due to those to things. I am seriously thinking of doing MGM on Sunday this time and moving Epcot to Monday or Tuesday.

Any thoughts?

Weekends at F&W always are much more crowded than weekdays. The lines at the different food kiosks can be 3-4x longer than than midweek.

We just returned from F&W. Sunday at Epcot, during the day you could shoot off a cannon and not hit anyone. No lines at all at any of the food booths. However on fri and sat all day the lines were LONG! The food booths themselves were a mix----some things appealed to us, some didn't. But it is fun to try a bite of something I wouldn't want to order a whole meal of.
Saturday night at the Party for the Senses though-----what a disappointment. First the price has gone up 30% since last year. It's now $250.00 plus tax per couple. This year we didn't find the variety of foods, we weren't impressed with more than 2 offerings. We also though the servings were smaller---and yes you can go back for more. The big push seemed to definately be the wine------and they PUSHED it!
We have gone to F&W for the past 6 years. My husband and I liked it so much we now have 14 of our friends going with us each year. I don't think any of us plan to go back to the party of the senses again. We were very disappointed. For the price we could have gone to dinner twice at Citricos!
