Anyone ever had withdrawal like as soon as they got back home?!?

This past trip was just so much fun, now I'm having major withdrawal already!

It is funny...

I've had trips where when I got back I felt total WDW burnout, but then you have that one really fun trip and you're back in obsession mode!

UGH! I know my fellow DVCers can relate!

I agree! My wife and I just got back from a week at the "World." I feel somewhat conflicted; tired, not burnt out, and yes, some withdrawl symptoms. It was our first MNSSHP and we loved it! We're going back for a week in May with all of three kids and grandchildren............reset the counter already!

I smiled as I read this because it seems that in spite of it all, you really had a great time, and I'm glad! Yes, we miss it already as well!

My withdrawl starts my last day at WDW. I'm SOOO sad. Now that I'm a DVC member, I'm hoping that will get better, because I shouldn't have to wait so long. I'm still trying to decide if thes boards make it better or worse, by seeing eneryone else's counters and trip reports! I get a fix, but I want to be there even more. Just know you're not alone!

I know all about that feeling! That's why I made sure to book the next three trips within a few short weeks of each other. I know people (friends and coworkers) think something is wrong with two thirty-something year old people who end up at WDW so regularly. I'm glad I you all who fully understand what a WDW withdrawal feels like!

Next visit 10/22-10/31

Thanksgiving 11/24-11/28

Christmas 12/22-12/27

Just start planning again...that seems to help!

Okay - I'm packing up our house - and trying to imagine myself back at WDW a little over a week ago. We're leaving next Thursday to move to Albuquerque, and the soonest we'll get back to WDW is Dec 2005! Ug!!!! the week we were there went by way too fast, and I can't imagine waiting that long to go again. Oh well - it isn't like I won't be busy - we'll be moving to FL in that time as well!!!!

The worst 2-3 weeks of the week. We go every year late Sept/early Oct. When we get back, I have to wait the 2-3 weeks before my 11 month window opens up.

Mine begins when I have to pack to leave WDW. I really start getting sad then. We only go about 1-2 times year, so I know that it will be a while before we get back.

The better the trip, the faster it seems to go.

I have to change my counter .....now I'm longing for my WL overnighter in Dec.

Bobbi, even though OKW didn't leave the best impression on me, we still had a fabulous trip! With the exception of the kinks at OKW the rest of the trip went without a hitch! Starting in November I can start making PSs for our anniversary trip in February. Guess I'll have to get my fix on the boards.

My Mom thinks I'm really insane, but it is definitely an addiction I have to the place.

LOL Shan! Just about everyone I know thinks that of me I consider the Disboards a support group for my addiction

I miss the ice cream. I will be up here, sampling ice cream for the rest of the year till we can go back and be happy again.

Next year will be my first DVC trip since we bought at the end of this trip

If only they had those teleporters from star trek@. I would beam myself to disney for this weekend that I have off.

I am so glad to see I am not alone!

I find the withdrawal symptoms aren't as bad if I arrive home late in the day or early evening. I usually spend the day at the outlet malls after I leave Disney ......shopping helps too.
