With the upcoming holiday weekend

How do you cook outdoors?

  • Gas (the cooking kind)

  • Carcoal

  • Open Fire (like chestnuts at Christmas)

  • We don't cook, we eat it raw like cavemen

Wich do you prefer to cook outside with?

Prefer the taste of charcoal, but it's too much of a PITA to deal with on a daily basis, so I use gas. :)

Charcoal takes too long. We fire up the gas grill.

I go on over to my buddy Norm's house. His wife Vera fires up the gas grill, and cooks up all of our steaks just the way we like them. There's always a cold case of beer on hand to quench our thirst.

Interestingly, people have been barbequing since the beginning of time. So the next time you take a piece of meet out to the grill to be cooked, realize that you are taking part in an ancient tradition celebrated by men.

That's why you can't get between a man and his barbeque.

Oh, and for beer, I highly recommend having a Sam Adams along with whatever food you happen to be grilling. A nice cool one compliments all tastes.

Cheers!

Cliff, you are just a fountain of knowledge... ;)

hmm no other option,, charcoal for meats ... uses a gas grill for veggies along with outdoor gas cooker with big pot to cook bbq beans and stuff,,, unless we go to lake where i then cook over a oak and hickory fire,, all three meals, big iron skillet, cowboy coffee pot, does bow to modern stuff and use burger baskets for burgers and dogs and meats,,

I've got gas.

Charcoal isn't fast enough. Click, click, poof! Baby!

I chose gas, until you specified the cooking kind, now I'm not so sure!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_15_5.gif' alt='Dutch Oven' border=0></a>

Use gas at home but wood fire while camping. Froggy, what's a burger basket?
