With Pop Century scheduled to open...

who plans to stay there? When I first heard of the new resort, I thought that was the place for us. It sounded fun, then with the cutbacks and delayed opening I never really concreted a choice in resorts for our next vacation. So will you be among the first to reserve a room at Disney's new Pop Century Resort?

I am sure DS and I will stay there sometime. Saves a lot of money when you are on a really tight budget,

I have made two reservations for Pop Century!

The first one is for Christmas, we'll be there Dec. 19- Jan. 2

Then we'll be there for 2 night during Easter Break after our Carnival Cruise.

I will be there 12/28 - 1/4 and again 2/7 - 2/16

Just made my reservation yesterday--for opening night and the next night! Those will be the last two nights of a trip which starts at PO Riverside for three nights, then DCL's Wonder for four nights, then All Star Music for three nights.

I can't wait!

CaliforniaDreamin, I'm right there hoping with ya! But I only arrive 8 days before it's scheduled to open. And I leave 2 days before hand. I wish they'd at least open the food court or pool or something so I could check it out. But it looks like they won't start any transportation until on the 14th.

We are planning to *tough it out* and split our January stay between CSR and PC.
We aren't in our rooms much anyway and I am curious after so much talk about it.
DH wants to stay there because it is new.
We have had very good stays at AS, so we aren't reluctant to give it a try. The lake looks enticing. Better than AS actually.
If it just wasn't for the god awful letters on top of the buildings.
Oh well. If they honor the AP rates, I can stomach "Whatssup" for a few days.

Anyone think with being new, they won't offer AP rates? Then I would probably pass.

Now, to keep us on topice, are you planning to stay at Pop Century?

Absolutely! I'll be there opening night and the second night! I'd stay a third night, but I'd run out of vacation time.
