Okay, to start off,
. For those who don't know, my name's Jaimie, I'm 16, and I just came home from my 12th trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. This is, I think, my first official trip report - I think I tried to write one a few years ago, but that didn't work out. Hopefully this one will. However, I have no idea what to write about, so I'll be figuring this out as we go along.
This trip seemed to be filled with luck, both good and bad, and it seemed to be the answer to everything that happened on this trip. But before I get ahead of myself, I should probably try to explain the events that happened before.
Back in February, I pretty much pryed it out of my mom that she had planned another trip to the World, in June '09. I was, needless to say, ecstatic! The only thing I had to worry about was snow days. (My last day of school was the 19th, a Friday, but if it snowed, we'd be pushed to finish on the 22nd. Luckly, this didn't happen.
)
I was all set to go until right before spring break in the beginning of April. My dad had been in a lot of pain for the past 3 weeks or so. Knee pain. It was getting to the point where he couldn't walk. So, my dad finally decided to go get that checked out. I'm not exactly sure what the problem was. Needless to say, he was out of work for a month to recover, and his doctor told him to take it easy for the next few months - the crucial time it would take for him to recover.
So there goes the Disney trip
, or so we think.
I can't remember when, but my mom asked her closest cousin and her daughter to join us for the week we were scheduled to go. They said yes!
And that's how my 12th trip to the world began...
Hopefully you've stuck around for this post. This is your last chance to exit.
