With kids for an ADR next week

We will be in Magic Kingdom next Thursday I have the Wave booked for a sit down but am having 2nd thoughts my kids are 10 and 6 not sure if they will like the Wave I can get Liberty Tree Tavern is that good? Do you think it is more kid friendly?
I have never stayed in disney and have never eaten at any of the restaurants any advice?

Liberty Tree is more kid friendly and you don't have to leave the park! My boys (9,11) still love the Crystal Palace buffet. Lots of good food! We also love the Plaza in Magic Kingdom. Have fun! We will be there on Friday

First of all I do not think you will be able to get any sit down reservation in the MK for next Thursday. I would be shocked if they were not completely booked. You did not mention if you were looking for lunch or for dinner.
Liberty Tree Tavern is fun and it is family friendly. However it is no longer a character meal, so it is not "special" for children.
I think the Wave will be okay. I am sure it is family friendly and it has gotten very good reviews here on the DIS. It will also be fun to see the CR and add another dimension to your day.

I just checked and Liberty tree has availability for lunch. Plaza for dinner and Crystal Palace for dinner too WOW....

Which one is your favorite out of the ones available?
Is Crystal Palace loud with lots of little kids?
