with a Fantasmic dinner pkg...how long....

before Fantasmic begins do you go and wait wait in line? 30min? 60min? etc. I hear that without the package, you should be there at least 90 min. We will be there on July 10...so a busy time of the year.

Well, they'll tell you to be at the gate by Oscar's 30 minutes early, but everyone is there at that time so we arrived 20 minutes early so we wouldn't get caught in the crush of people . We went on 6/13. There were still plenty of seats, but by the time the show started it was standing room only. If you want a seat down in front you may want to line up 30 minutes early in order to get them. We did that last year and got seats right in front. There are no bad seats in the theater, though. They don't open that gate until about 30 minutes before the show starts.

We went in November and with the package we got there about an hour early. We were able to walk right in, using the secret path, and then when we got to the seats...Holy Moly! What a crowd! There were soooo many non-package people already sitting and our "reserved" area was just starting to fill up. The hour wait flew by pretty quickly! Well worth the wait. I would do the package again next time.

When I have done it in the past, there was no waiting in line, though you were supposed to be there 30 minutes early. Then it was just a matter of walking in (and with dinner package, you enter through a back stage area, though at the end of the show anyone can go that way). So for a show starting at 7, you were supposed to check in by Oscar's garage (I think that's the name) by 6:30.

thanks...it's sounding more and more like this Fantasmic Dinner Pkg is worth it (in the value of time)....we wouldn't normally have chosen to eat at H&V...but with 5 kids...cutting down the wait time to get in to Fantasmic is great! 30min! great! thanks everyone for your responses....
