I am so torn between a meal with better food (O'hana's) and a meal with the atmosphere my kids would get into. We are staying at the Poly on DDP but on our last full day we are doing a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and then going over to HS for the afternoon, we'll have one TS left. Should we just snack our way through HS and go back to O'hana's or let our kids enjoy the unique setting of Sci-Fi? Thanks.

I guess it depends on the age... based on the thread title I was going to say ohana's... I have a 2 and 4 yr old and they way prefer ohana's where they can get up and see charachters (bkfst) hmm you've already got Park Fare
again age is key, I would go with P&D at hollywood and vine. We didn't really like sci fi, our kids are too young to enjoy it... too dark and the food was only ok. Good luck

Guess I should clarify - there will be 3 kids ages 6, 4, and 2. We will be doing the Park Fare breakfast with Mary Poppins et. al. that morning.

Definitely O'Hanas. Sci Fi can be scary and movies are for older kids. Also, O'hana's is GREAT and they will enjoy the coconut races and entertainment. Also you will be home and can watch wishes from the beach! (Or put the kids in Neverland and have adult time ;)

The seating at the SciFi is in a contained vehicle. It's a little dim and there's no place for a child to stretch their legs or to do any "activity". They'd have to be content to sit in the car. On the other hand, if you're talking about dinner service, Ohana has activities for kids and some entertainment (such as it is--I find the lady emcee's voice a little annoying). I would think the kids would enjoy Ohana more.:goodvibes

We LOVE Ohana and we are eating there on our last night, plus we are trying Sci-Fi for lunch but have not eaten here before. Good luck

Definitely Ohana. We've done both multiple times. The seating is more comfortable for little ones at Ohana and they'll have the opportunity to get up a few times for the activities. At Sci-Fi, they'd be knocking over the roller skating servers if they got antsy! You can request more kid friendly food at Ohana, too. (Although, both of mine like the food there fine!)

THANK YOU SO MUCH! You made the decision quite easy for me. I really wanted Ohana's but felt guilty if Sci-Fi was something the kids would like more, then saw a pic of the bread pudding which threw me over the edge!
