If you had to design the ultimate Disney website, what features would it contain?

I know we all love the DIS, and AllEars, wdwinfo, etc; recently there was a site with the guy spending 300 days at WDW...

What kind of things would be on your ultimate Disney website??

Michael

I wish you could book ADRs online....wouldn't that be fabulous??? And even if that was missing, I wish you could look up your reservation and all the ADRs would show with it. It would be so much easier to confirm everything at once that way....

That's a very good one! I was also referring to Disney-fan and info sites too, not just the official Disney site.

If you could make your ideal disney-related fan site, what would it have??

it would be nice to do ADRs online. other than that, these mes. boards are perfect, and for room res, I like to talk to someone on the phone ::yes::

I wish you could choose your room online from a layout of the hotel - like I choose my airline seats! That would be way cool.

I would like there to be a live Disney cam so i can "go" to the park as I please...also, they should have live cameras on the rides so you can ride the rides with the Disney guests. That would be awesome. :dancer:
Also maybe a section with Disney music from around the world so you can download this music onto an ipod or something. And maybe a suggestion box for the imagineers.

:wizard: :pug:

Great suggestions from all so far!

If you could take a site like the DIS, or AllEars, or one of the other many sites out there and improve it, what would you add (or remove)?

I wish they could have the calendar of times the parks open and close and EMH and days and times of parades and what not more in advance (as of now, it only displays up to 1 or 2 months in advance)...it's very hard to plan an itinerary that way!

:wizard: :pug:

If it is an un-official Disney site, I truly believe that AllEars has the info covered and the Disboards has the ability to ask questions covered.

An official site......well, that is another story. Ability to book dining, choose your room from what is available and more video of the resorts.

A forum, lots of pictures, reviews from people, and maybe some video clips of the rides. I love watching them, and they are so hard to find now. And some sound clips would be great, especially ones that you can download and put onto MP3 players and iPods. That would be great!

ITA about more videos of the resorts, but I would also like to look up my account information online and see if I've been sprinkled with pixiedust and have a pin code attached to my name!

I would also like to say that one of the most annoying things is not knowing how many days you have left on your park ticket. I'm going in a week and have a couple leftover tickets but I'm not sure if there's any days left. So I think you should be able to go online and type in your card number and have it tell you how many days you have left, if you have any left at all...

 Amirah- I was reading your trip report and see you've been to Liki Tiki Village twice for a WDW vacation...I've never heard of that but it sounds nice and tropical, where is it?

interactive maps that you can click say...magic kingdom then click say...epcot and it will tell you the best way to get from one place to the other.

more ride details and pics like inside the ride and "spoilers" for us chickens.

There used to be live Web Cams prior to 9/11- not anymore.

Also there are multiple sites where you can download "file sharing" of videos of people on rides or fireworks and music- all the music is able to be put onto an ipod. However Disney does not like these files because it goes against copyrights - wither intellectual or otherwise.

printable coupons for free dining plan!
Sorry, I could not resist posting this answer.

It's on Rt. 192 at the end toward Rt. 27...DH loves this place and I'm not going back. hehe I want to stay on Disney, but yes, it's a very nice resort. PM me if you need more info. I don't want to hijack this thread. Sorry to the OP!
