going back on 11th and feb and cant wait! We went last august for 3 weeks but had the joy of tropical storm fay for a lot of the time! I dont think there is any other holiday that can make you feel so excited. Will be going to madi gras at universal and avoiding disney over their teen weekend and presidents day.

We go back on the 3rd and I know what you mean about being excited.
It seems to me that the closer we get to going the further away it feels.
We're also looking forward to Mardi Gras - have been before and thoroughly enjoyed it.
When are Presdients Day and the teen weekend that you mentioned? We may have to make sure we avoid these as well.

Michelle,it will be here before you know it,and yes to me as well there is no greater holiday than WDW .
We booked ours Dec07 for Apr09+we thought it would really drag-but now it has come around so quick .This will be our first time back since 2004+we are REALLY excited .
We will also be doing Mardis Gras this year+have never done it before+also to be honest don't know much about it-as in where to stand/sit,are rides open as normal beforehand,so any info/tips you can give me would be great.x.

Not long to go now we leave on Monday 9th Feb and we are counting the days

DD's case is packed and ready to go (she has too many clothes so I could do this!) Most of my stuff is laid out in the spare room, we've brought all our toiletries and things we need so now we just have to wait

right its the disney dreamers academy which is on 12 to 15 feb not sure but according to the events it is teens at high school can just imagine what it will be like lol. Presidents day is on 16th feb i think its a national holiday plenty of sales will be on which is great. Madi gras is good fun there are floats and they throw hundreds of beaded necklaces also there are live acts i know that the village people will be there and ne yo its worth checking the website for more details. It does get very busy loads of people trying to catch the necklaces.

I just googled the Disney Dreamers Academy and found this site http://www.steveharvey.com/disneysdreamersacademy/it seems it has been awarded to 100 teens for various reasons. I don't think 100 teens will make that much difference to crowd levels
