Ok so the plan is almost completely set... and so far I'm going to see wishes from:

1.) The VIP section that comes with the premium package
2.) The California Grill
3.) The Poly Beach

How many times can one watch the same fireworks show?
That given - I was wondering somethin.

I know that during the parades are a great time to ride, rides... what are the rides like during the fireworks?

Also, if anyone is familar with the seating that comes with the Premium pkg - can you tell me what that's like? If it's bad I'd like the oppertunity to make other arrangments ;)

I could watch the fireworks every night -- but I love fireworks (guess there's a little pyro in me somewhere) -- esp. from different perspectives. I prefer closer up, tho, not from far away like the resorts -- I like the spot in Fantasyland near the carousel (but then you don't see the lights on the castle). Have heard that being in ToonTown is even closer, so I expect to try that next trip.
I think the ride lines are also a little shorter during fireworks (but I'm always watching the fireworks, so can't say for sure!).
Would be interesting to hear where the VIP area is.

We took a Grand Gatherings Fireworks Cruise in August and it was fantastic. The soundtrack was played in the boat and we saw the Electric Water Pageant at the same time. I would do that again in a heartbeat.

I absolutely adore Wishes...it is without a doubt my favorite thing at Disneyworld. I love it love it love it!!!

My husband and I watched it every night of our honeymoon!!! Honestly, I found the best place to watch it was right smack dab in the middle of mainstreet!!! We did a Wishes cruise and watched them from CG one evening and actually saw them on the boat from WL one evening...but our favorite place was Mainstreet.

I love Wishes...I can't wait to see it again!!!

have a wonderful magical time!!!! princess: :wizard:

Mainstreet is the best place to see Wishes as it was designed for that view. It was designed to be viewed with a straight on look at the castle. You can see the fireworks from other places but to get the "Choreography" Mainstreet is the best. However, the Wishes cruise is incredible as is watching them while riding Astro Orbiter is supercool. if you time it just right (sometimes CMs will help with this) you can be up in the air while they are going off and get a real birdseye view! You can not see them too often. I have also seen them from the VIP area and the beach at the GF and the Wishes Cruise and the GG Cruise.
