Wishes the same as Remember ...Dreams Come True?

Last visit to DL we watched Dreams every night for a week! We are going to be at WDW exactly one year after (5/5) DL's opening day for the 50th celebration!! My question is - is Wishes very similar to Dreams? My DD3 has the darn music memorized from the CD and is just wondering what to expect. Does anyone who has seen both presentations know if they are similar or different?

Wishes is pretty close to Dreams Fireworks. Wishes doesn't have the grand circle tour part but the Begining Segment and Ending Segment are longer than dreams .

We were in DL in July last year and watched Dreams... fireworks there and loved them!! DS, DD and myself watch our video from vacation often. I found a link here on the DIS to view Wishes. We're going in October this year and was looking forward to the fireworks, but was disappointed with Wishes compared to Dreams. Dreams incorporates more attractions theme songs and had the laser stuff for Star Tours and had Pirates. Just thought it was longer and had a lot more lights and changes to colors/designs on the castle. Just MHO.

I've seen Wishes countless times and I have to say nothing makes people more emotional at Disney than Wishes, It's an incredible show and most people's favorite at WDW. I've only seen Disneyland's Dreams downloaded from a website and do agree that all the different parts from the classic Disney attractions is extremely cool with parts of Wishes thrown in, but as of right now Wishes is my favorite, even though I really want to see Dreams in person. It's on my checklist to make it out to DLR sometime soon!!

After seeing Remember, Wishes will be hard pressed to top it. That said, I look forward to seeing Wishes and am confident that it will be outstanding. It will just be very hard for any fireworks show to top Remember since it incorporates both Disney and Star Wars.

I saw Wishes a few times and thought they were wonderful. But then I saw RDCT and was blown away. RDCT is much better than Wishes..and thats saying alot. However I do feel to get that impression you have to see them from the hub at the top of Main St. Watching them near the Fantamsic viewing area does take a bit away from them(Ive seen them there twice also).
