Has anyone done one of these?

We couldn't get an illuminations one so we got a Wishes one with the birthday package added as it is my cousins 16th birthday.

Also the WDW lady said they didn't know what time the cruise would be yet because firework times hadn't been announced. Could anyone hazard a guess as to what time it will be. We are at Discovery Cove all day and then we need to eat as well at some point. I am hoping to get a PS for Dinner at Crystal Palace for that night too.

I think we met up for ours about 7.30 - 8pm :)

You will have a wonderful time, a great way to see WISHES :)

It will depend on what time of year you're going. Post your dates and it will be fairly easy to make an educated guess. Wishes is currently scheduled for every night of July at 10pm, for example.

I think it will be tricky to do DC, a Wishes Cruise and a Crystal Palace PS all on the same day. Assuming you'll be doing the Dolphin Swim, you won't know the time of your encounter until you check in. Even if it's not too late, you'll want to make the most of your day there which probably means you won't be leaving until 5-5.30pm. One of the big advantages of taking a Wishes Cruise is that you don't have to enter the Magic Kingdom, so I'd save CP for another night. Which resort does your cruise sail from? I'd be tempted to go for an early evening meal there.

Can I ask how much did it cost and what do you get for the birthday cruise? Would like to do one for my husband......we are travelling in Dec and is b'day is Dec 30th. How far in advance can you book? Does anyone have the number?!

OK, enough quetions now!!

14th August. I guess Wishes will be late which is why I was thinking we might be able to do CP - ordinarily i wouldn't pack so much in but it is my cousins 16th and DC is a surprise, CP is her choice of birthday treat as she LOVES Eeyore and the cruise is a surprise!

Wishes cruise inc birthday package cost me $220 inc tax. This includes basic cruise £120 + tax, decorated boat, birthday cake and some non alcoholic beverages. I *know* I could have got a basic cruise and taken a cake on board etc... but last year was a tough year for all of us and this holiday is to put it all behind us, my cousin is turning sixteen and will have just finished her GCSE's so i decided to hell with the cheaper option, we were going to do it in full disney style!

I will post a trip report when I am back.

In answer to the question about booking - it can be booked 90 days out and the number can be found on the thread about illumiNations cruises on the Tips thread at the top of this board.

If anyone can give me an idea of wishes times on Sat 14th Aug I would be v grateful.

Hi Mel,

It looks like the hours are out for August and Wishes is currently scheduled for 10pm as the park closes, with a SpectroMagic earlier at 9pm.

August 14th Magic Kingdom

Have a wonderful time - we did an Illuminations cruise last trip and it was superb. Hopefully we can do a Wishes cruise one day too.
