Wishes replacement?

I would hope not; they already did something hideous like that already. :faint:

Im pretty sure a carrot cake cupcake castle would look much better than this lol.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

castle illumination and projection cold be a phase in to reduce wishes. Was there last month and did the EPCOT tour. They took us backstage to show us the firework barges. The guide said it cost $65,000 a day for all the fireworks around Disney World. That comes out to $23 million plus a year. If can blend in the castle illumination and projection They can cut back on the fireworks to cut costs. They could be doing that now without notice.

Exactly. The whole point of Disney Dreams at DLRP was supposed to be to cut costs. There's very few fireworks involved in that show.

People will begin to catch on eventually. I won't not be surprised if people began to complain about this. Disney is really running aground with all the budget cuts and money grabs.

This is about wishes but off topic. Does anyone know why in September, Wishes is before the Main Street Electrical Parade?

Must be only doing one showing of the MSEP instead of two and that one showing is after wishes.

With September being the "quiet" period I think one showing is pretty common, though last time I visited in September it was MSEP first then Wishes.

2 years ago a friend of mine who works for Disney imagines said they were coming up with ideas for a new firework show however has not confirmed anything. i'm assuming it will be for the 50th as it is not that far way. I LOVE wishes and more then that CBTM. I hope I can go a few more times before it gets changed

Yes, this is what I am used to. It also makes a little more sense for waiting purposes. There is less room for people to wait for the parade. Then when it is over, space opens up and more people stream in for the fireworks. If you do it in reverse, you have to clear the streets and people trying to claim parade spots are getting trampled, or people are trying to stop in front of them and steal their spot.

I would have loved to have seen that! Maybe not if I got married there that year, or if it was my only visit ever, but still - that looks awesome!
