FYI on picture taking...
Many people use the automatic adjustment cameras. When you let the camera decide the settings, then each shot actually takes a setup period, then a picture taking period. By the time the "shutter" snaps, the picture you wanted has already past.
There are two ways around this that I know of:
1) Most auto cameras allow you to push the shutter button partially down and let it figure out all the settings, then when you see the picture you want, push the button the rest of the way down.
2) Otherwise read the settings your camera is using (if it shoes them to you) then manually put those settings in, and snap pictures to your hearts content.
A half-second delay can really thow off a picture.
