Wishes on MNSSHP nights?

According to the September schedule, Wishes will be performed at 6 p.m. on September 30. I assume this is because of MNSSHP. Two questions:

1) How can they do fireworks when it's still light outside?

2) We are arriving on Sunday October 2, which is a MNSSHP night - should I assume that Wishes will also be at 6 p.m. that night?

Last year, Wishes was only done on non-MNSSHP nights and was at the typical near-closing times. On MNSSHP nights there were special MNSSHP fireworks instead -- and they were GREAT! I think if the schedule says Wishes will be at 6 pm it might be an error.

I saw this posted elsewhere and think the same thing.

I don't even think it's dark enough that time of year for fireworks that early, is it?

Plus, there is the whole "getting everyone out of the park before 7PM" thing - no way are they going to have Wishes go as long as it does and then have even less time to get the park decorated and all the non-party goers out.

Last year they did Wishes on non-MNSSHP days and on the party nights they do Wishes+ (with added 360 degree fireworks). They do not do it at 6pm...people are being pushed out the door at this point!

I think that is definetly just an error. Every year we've gone to MNSSHP. They did not do Wishes those nights. I wouldn't plan anything around that, as I really don't think it's correct.

Just wanted to say we (me, DH and DS(5) ) are arriving on Oct. 2 too! We plan to do the mnnshp on that Thursday! We're getting closer! Have a great trip!

Thanks everyone! We are having dinner at Ohana at 7:20 p.m. that night, and were hoping to see some fireworks during or after dinner. Maybe we'll be able to see the MNSSHP fireworks!!

We are really getting excited! What could be better than Disney and FREE dining? We're going with a group of 19, 11 adults and 8 kids, ages 15, 14, 13, 11, 11, 11, 6 and 6!! Should be a blast!
