Wishes & Illuminations FPs no longer available?

Welcome to my first thread ever!

I am planning our upcoming May trip and was hoping to book a FP for Wishes. However, Wishes is no longer displayed as a FP option. I keep checking back daily, but still nothing. An online chat with a CM produced no information of value, just vague possibilities of why it isn't there. Illuminations is also unavailable 60 days out. I have read a few threads on other sites that mention a rumor that WDW is phasing out these two FPs. Has anyone heard anything about this? Is this true?

As the title says the Fast Passes are gone.

Rteetz is correct. Hours are cut for CMs everywhere. This includes areas seen as not needed and without profit. Unfortunately the special viewing areas have to be manned by multiple CMs to keep non-FP out vs just having two general control CMs keeping an eye out for guest safety and walkway clearances instead. If I remember correctly those old firework control positions were Overtime shifts CMs could pickup, would help explain the cuts.

I am going in May. At my 60 day point, Wishes FPs were not listed. But Illuminations was still a FP option.

Same for me at the end of April. No Wishes, but Illuminations was still available.
