"Wishes" From The Polynesian

If you view "Wishes" from the beach at the Polynesian, are you able to hear the 'Wishes" music?

When we were there in April it was playing but it was very,very soft. I could barely hear it.

Yes they pipe in the music to Wishes

We watched Wishes a few years ago from the Poly beach after eating dinner at Kona because we weren't going to make it in time. It was very nice and peaceful to sit on the beach and watch from a distance but you will not get the full effect of the music and you have a hard time hearing the dialogue. The speakers are few and far between and from our experience, hard to hear from unless you were sitting directly near one. This was hard to do though because several families had already camped out near them on the night we went. Still, it's beautiful to see - just don't get your hopes up to have the full effect as there is nothing like standing in the middle of Main Street and "being there" if you know what I mean.

It is hard to hear. Having said that, it is my very favorite place to watch Wishes (okay, so not my favorite, my favorite is from the deck of the Grand 1 Yacht but I can't do that too often!)

Agree, We have viewed Wishes from the PR, CR and GF...best place to experience or view Wishes...Main Street.

It is SOOO soft...I think you can actually hear it better from the music floating across the lagoon than from the music coming from the speakers...lol.

It's really frustrating, b/c it didn't used to be like it...I know that years ago (possibly before Wishes) they played it pretty loudly. We should all write letters & maybe they'll crank it up!
