Wishes from the Main Street Train Station?

How crowded is the platform typically? I've never watched them from the train station before. Trying to be somewhat close to the exit in case our son doesn't like the fireworks.

That is an extremely popular spot, more for the parades that precede and follow Wishes than for Wishes itself.

It's not a desirable place to watch the fireworks.

They leave the lights on at that end of Main Street and on the platform to assist guests who leave during the fireworks.

If you don't mind the lights and the constant bustle of other guests as they are leaving, you can see the show OK from there.
 
Cosmic Rays is now fully enclosed with big glass windows. You could watch the fireworks from there. You won't get the full experience, and I don't know if you'll hear the show audio, but the glass will soften any fireworks noise. Also, Disney doesn't use any purely noisemaker booming fireworks in its shows.
