Wishes FP+ Cancellations

Has anyone ever had a Wishes FP+ cancelled? Maybe due to rain?
I was wondering if I'd be better off hedging my bet and getting a Wishes FP+ for my 2nd MK night just in case it gets rained out on the first MK night.
I've never used a FP+ for Wishes before, so I wasn't sure how that worked- if they'd give you a random 4th FP+ or one to be used on Wishes for another night.

Any insight is appreciated

I've never seen them cancel Wishes, period. I've seen it in rain. Granted, I've never been there when it was a full on thunderstorm during Wishes either. So no idea what they'd do in that case.

Good to know! I'm bringing some family that has never been to Disney World before, so I really want to make sure they get to see Wishes (which is the epitome of all Disney magic IMO!)

If for some random reason Wishes is cancelled (extremely bad weather is the only reason I've ever seen, and you wouldn't be anywhere near outside anyway), the FP people at the Wishes wouldn't be able to do anything- you'd have to try and go to Guest Services. We were there one night when they had massive technical difficulties in February- sound feedbacks and reverbs all over the hub when just before the Electric Parade and Celebrate the Magic went off without a hitch. We waited an hour then gave up, and there were a lot of people asking about other FP, and they were directed to Guest Services then.

Are they still being offered after mid-April? I thought that they were taken off the list? I haven't looked...

Before you spend too much time thinking about it, you should be aware that this will apparently not be an option after next month (4/20 is the date I keep hearing as the last date available).

Wishes FP is ending soon, so it will probably be a non-issue for you

But I have never seen Wishes be cancelled. They will delay for bad weather and wait for it to clear out. The longest I have waited is 2 hours in a severe thunderstorm, though I've heard of even later delays. If anything is cancelled for rain, it would be the parade, but even that I've seen them just change the schedule

It is an issue for me, as I'm going very soon and currently have Wishes FP+ for two nights and was trying to decide if I should let one night go.

Yeah, I figured that if you had FP you had to be going before they are stopped. We are too. I think I have them for the last night they are offered.
