We were really hoping to get a FP for Wishes because my kids always end up with a crappy view, with other adults standing in front of them. Unfortunately, we weren't able to book them (though we did get MSEP - which is not a great spot to view Wishes from, I know).

So.. does anyone have any good tips for making sure your kiddos have a good view? Especially with the construction going on, I'm kind of at a loss. They're too big to stand in the stroller (we tried that when they were littler). I just feel bad that they've always got heads and shoulders blocking their view.. especially of the castle.

Thanks!

If it is in your budget look at adding the Wishes Dessert Party. :)

I'm 4'11'', so that was a concern of mine as well.....

we were right next to the FP area for the parade and I had plenty of time to talk to the cast member there and ask for details for Wishes. He told me that as soon as the parade is over, to start walking backwards and get somewhere behind the Mickey and Walt statue for the best views. We backed up in the street to the left (facing the castle) and then noticed where a cast member was trying to keep a travel lane.... he was trying to pack us in tighter and I told him that the people in front of me were so tall that I wouldn't be able to see. So, he let us be behind the makeshift walkway, so there was some distance between me and people and it was really nice.

Good luck... I know all about being short! Unless you want to stake out a spot on a bench in the middle area about 2 hours prior to the parade, you have to take your chances. Otherwise, I'd think about going to the Contemporary and watching them... or the Poly if they are letting people still watch from the beach?

We sat right in the middle of the 'hub' by the Mickey/Walt statue in front of the castle, everyone around us was sitting so the kids really didn't have any issue seeing. It isn't the best view of the fireworks themselves but the castle projection show from that location is amazing
