Wishes! Fireworks Cruise

I'm most likely going to add one to our trip schedule next week (surprise for my sister's birthday). Has anyone done this? I would appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

We have done Illuminations. I think they book like 90 days out. I doubt you could get one at this time. If you have found someone to share congratulations. Enjoy your trip.

There are actually a couple of different opportunities for the wishes fireworks cruise. There is a pirate cruise that is part of the magical gatherings experience. You must have 7 or 8 in your party I think.. That one looked like a lot of fun as you get a pirate or two on the boat, and when you get back you get to meet Peter Pan. I tried to get that for my family but couldn't as we were not a large enough party. I even offered to pay for the 2 extra we needed! But couldn't make it happen...

There is also private wishes fireworks cruises. It is a private pontoon boat that leaves from the Contemporary Marina.

I took the entire family last year and everyone enjoyed the ride around the lagoon, the electric water parade and the fireworks. I was a little, well very, dissappointed that the radio was broken and we had to listen to the other boats radio for the music. There were several boats around us so we could hear the music.

The "captain" was very nice and made the outing enjoyable.

The wishes cruises are wondeful. I did one for my honeymoon, and I did another one with my in-laws in December. They are a very relaxing, crowd free way to view the fireworks. I would recommend it. You just call the reservation number and they will set you up. I hope you are able to book, it is my understanding that they go pretty fast, but I was able to get one five weeks out...
