We are planning our first trip to WDW since Wishes started and I'm VERY excited to see this show and to share it with my family - my problem is that after looking over my (carefully planned!) itinerary I just realized that the only night we'll see Wishes (inside the park) is the night we are doing MVMCP (11/30). I know that it's supposed to be "Wishes, with a holiday twist" according to what I've read, but I'm wondering will I regret it if we don't try to switch things around so we can see the "regular" version too?
Here's the plan as it stands right now - tell me if and how you would switch things around...
We have 5 day PH's by the way, but are trying to stay out of the parks until Sunday due to crowds.
Friday - arrive late, have 8:00 PS at WC
Saturday - day trip to the beach, maybe eat at TE when we get back if it works out.
Sunday - AK (have 10:00 a.m. b-fast at Donald's), evening open - may grab dinner and then try to go see Osbourne lights or possibly Illuminations in the evening.
Monday - Epcot (have 5:30 PS at GG and CP scheduled at 8:15)
Tuesday - Sleep in, 11:10 PS at 1900PF and then resort hop until we can get into MK for MVMCP (4:00 p.m. according to what I'm reading!)
Wednesday - sleep in again after late night party, and then may do TL (if wheather permits) or go to Gatorland (DS12 would LOVE this), then do a dinner show that night (Dixie Stampede).
Thursday - MGM have 4:00 p.m. PS for H&V fantasmic pkg.
Friday - MK (have 8:25 a.m. PS at CP and 7:15 p.m. PS at O'Hana)
I also just called on a whim and snagged the last boat for a Wishes cruise this night - which would mean changing the time on our O'hana PS, but I'm still mulling this whole thing over, because if I DO switch plans this would be the night I would have to do CP pkg...aaaaaak!
Satuday - departure day (no parks)
What do ya think - should I just leave it alone or would you make some changes in order to work in Wishes on a regular night (Spectro would just be a bonus, we saw it last time and I don't mind missing it this time if it doesn't fit).
