What is the cost difference between the Wishes DP and Illuminations DP?? Is it a huge difference?? I mean, you wouldn't have the viewing fee, but you'd have a bigger site fee, right? And is the menu the same? Or woud the Wishes be different since it is not inside a park?

Thanks!

We are doing a wishes DP. The GF marina has no minimum, but we went with a Sweet Dreams dessert that about 36pp. I was told also told though, that the caterers won't set up outside if there isn't enough food. We went with the cheapest dessert set-up and a water station. There is no viewing fee for Wishes either, but they charge an outside set up fee.
I don't know really anything about illuminations parties though...

 If they won't set up outside, where will they put it. how far away from the Marina will your food be?

This is interesting. Ours is planned for the GF at Sago Cay Pointe. There is no site fee. The pricing for the dessert party is different from Illuminations because it is GF catering. The lowest price menu seems to be $27 + 20% service charge + 6.5% tax on food & the service charge. My understanding is that the food will be set up outside. We are also paying to have the WISHES soundtrack piped into the area because we could not hear it when we visited the site to watch WISHES about a month ago.

I hope that helps!

The GF is catering so the menu is different but you are allowed to pick and choose. The dessert menu was quite fancy and were $27, $40, and $60 a person. I chose my own combination with assorted cookies, brownies, mickey rice krispy treats, fruit display, cheese display, and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. That is $35 pp but I am going to take off the fruit display.

For Wishes you are not paying the viewing fee like you would for illuminations but if you want to hear it and have the music piped in then it is $650.
