Wishes DP locations IN MK park???

Hi everyone! i was wondering if anyone knew where the locations - if any at all - were IN Magic Kingdom to hold a Dessert Party????

When we went the other night, I forgot how much it takes my breath away EVERYtime i've seen it - and the new show on the castle just adds to the emotion now....

DF and I are going to ask the planners but I can't hold this question in until 3/20!!!!

So lmk if you know of any and if anyone has ANY info, pics, or experiences, PLEASE SHARE!

Sorry: there is no place in the MK for a Wishes dessert party. The only option is the GF. There is the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks DP, but that is public and you wouldn't be able to wear your wedding dress. I'm sorry!

Thanks for the response. Bummer. I don't know if i DO want to wear my wedding dress but i would like to leave that option open for later so... dunno!!!! Epcot DP it is then!

You can, of course, have a 'Wishes' dessert party at Sago Cay at the GF complete with music (for a price!!). Obviously, you would not be able to see the castle, but you can keep your dress on. There is the 'Fantasmic' dessert party option too!!!! It doesn't have to be Epcot!!

You can totes see the castle from SCP, silly goose. It's tiny and off to the side, but it's there! I had my DP there.

I was trying to think of a way to get IN the park to see wishes - because to me, its more more magical being surrounded by all the hustle and bustle. But i wanted to see if it was at least a tiny bit away from the crowds... I know that there are other options but for me, its castle! DF picks illuminations so thats great too

What I meant (and just expressed it badly), was that the OP won't be able to fully see the projected show on the castle. She had made a point of mentioning it in her post, so I assumed it was important to her!!!

I think that we are ALL silly gooses for chatting about disney weddings so much ahahahahahaha. But thank god for this bunch bc who else would hash this out with me??? Or even come CLOSE at ALL to knowing ANY answer!!!! Yea disboards!

The show is important and i just wanted to make sure that i wasn't forgetting somewhere that could hold a DP IN MK. Thanks for at least making me feel MUCH better about DP in EPCOT! - Thinking UK loch side and hoping for good wind that day....

Oops. You're right. I misread/misunderstood. I think my spring break has rendered my brain unable to function.

And I actually totally agree: I think Wishes is much more powerful in the park. BUT, I dislike Illuminations greatly. (I know, I am in the minority!) If you pipe in the music to SCP though, it is RIGHT there.

I was in the same boat as you were. I absolutely love wishes and def wanted to have a dessert party inside that park. For the life of me I can not understand y they do not allow a dessert party in the rose garden in front of the tomorrow land terrace. So

So I felt like I made my self so stressed about the decision of my dessert party lol. Here's what it came down too. Illuminations are awesome, one of the best fire work shows I have ever seen. However, when thinking about the time frame of my wedding I was kind of not feeling the bus ride to Epcot.

I know that everyone says the castle at Sago Cay is small. However, when I saw the pictures of the dessert party there. I have to say it looks stunning. In addition, I have seen lots of great fire work bride and groom shots there. I ve seen them on here and also great pics on David and Vicki Arndt s photography site.

All is all, it is Disney World we all are going with. Every venue Ive seen looks amazing all with the pictures. I am sure you will get the best where ever you choose to book!

To the other girls I am so elated that everyone on here talks about their Disney Weddings so much because I am glad there are others that share my enthusiasm. My fiance def needs a rest from it

LMAO yes!!!!! DF is great but at some point they get that glazed look of come on honey .... they are both white paper samples!!! lololololol

MY PS is tomorrow and ill see what we decide but i think for now its EPCOT bc it is DF fave! he wins for once! hahaha
