Do people recommend the Wishes dessert party? I've never really considered it before but I've all of a sudden thought, that would be a really nice treat and surprise if I booked it for our last night this year.
My daughter will be 22 months old. Will she just eat off my plate as per the buffet?

Thanks!

Should be noted that recently this event changed in that they no longer have reserved seating. Seating is first come, first served for those with admission. So getting a good seat is not as easy as it used to be, and you probably won't be able to see Wishes unless you stand at the railing. Not sure what that means when attending with a toddler.

Same day reservations allow you to use the old FP+ locations. Which is nice if it isn't raining.

I strongly disagree with the statement above. People do not stand at the railing in front of tables anymore. The tables are pushed up against the railing. There are standing areas only at the very far sides of the terrace just in case you aren't happy with your table view. New changes have been made last week allowing same day reservations, and those people are given the option of going to the prior Fastpass area to view the fireworks. I attended this in early April. At that time, you could still get a very good table by arriving in line about 30 min before they started seating people.

I enjoyed it very much! We did have a reserved table and then stood at the railing to watch. Wonderful view of the fireworks. Good view of the castle. Fun to munch on all the desserts. It was Feb 2015 when we went, and I know things have changed. But I thought it was a fun event!

We enjoyed it. For us, it was a nice thing to do once, but don't really care anything about doing it again, especially with the price increases. It has gone up since we last did it. Perhaps if the price came back down we would consider doing it again at some point.

Do they still have fireworks FP? We did that- spent about $20 on all sorts of treats, and had a ball there.

At $25 and with reserved seating where I didn't have to show up an hour before they opened the dessert party, I would say yes; Now that it's $50 and the seats are no longer reserved I say no way. Even Mickey Mouse agrees with me on this one.
