Wishes Dessert Party?

Hey guys! I have never done the Dessert Party but I think it sounds really cool! I'm thinking about trying it one my next trip, but I have a couple of questions.

1. I'm thinking about surprising my sister with this for her birthday. Is this like any other Dining Reservation, will they do anything special for a birthday? Even if it is just confetti on the table?

2. How much does this really cost? I've looked everywhere and I'm getting different answers.

3. Does anyone know when booking will be open for December dates?

3. Does anyone know when booking will be open for December dates? They released November dates on 9/6/11 so hopefully December dates will be released soon. No one knows what the dates are yet: Disney World doesn't release that info. Even if you call reservations, they just tell you that they're expecting December to open up any day. 9/6 is the date that November opened up, so we're guessing we'll be able to book sometime soon.
