I am thinking about doing this for our first night. We arrive mid-afternoon. We have no dinner ressie so I was thinking a CS meal and then this later in the evening. If we do this will I feel the need to stay late another night to see Wishes closer up? I would like to only have a few really late nights. Our girls are 2,4 & 6. Will we have a good view of tinkerbell flying? Any input is appreciated!

Oh, and is it worth the cost???

The dessert party is one of those things I didn't mind doing but I wouldn't recommend it.

The desserts were good but they squeezed the tables in so tight when we went that it really was uncomfortable. After saying excuse me a million times me and the other guest did a little "rearranging".

They kept the lights on during the fireworks. generally the park is dimmed, I thought it took away from the atmosphere.

It was a fun thing to do but I would have prefered going to main st bakery and then watching the fireworks from there. It would have been a lot cheaper too. ;)

I'll add a different point of view: We did the dessert party in July and liked it so much that we're doing it again in October. :)

On the night we went, I didn't find the tables to be crowded at all, but perhaps they have tried to squeeze more people in as time goes on.

We had a perfect, unobstructed view of the castle and fireworks. Tinkerbell flies directly overhead. The desserts were great and, although I do find it to be overpriced at $23+, I loved having a designated place to view the fireworks without staking out a spot ahead of time.

In my opinion, I don't think you'd find yourself wanting to see the fireworks from a different location on another night. The view from here is just as good as any other.

We did the dessert party on Aug. 27. It was a spectro night, and I would recommend you don't go on a Spectro night if you want to see Spectro. Seating time is generally during the parade. You can kind of see it from a distance at the party site, which may be fine for you if you've seen it multiple times, but the parade viewing is not great for first time parade viewers.

Viewing of Wishes was very good, I thought. Be prepared to get up and walk to the railing to view it. (They won't let you move your chairs.) But it wasn't as if we had to claim a rail spot early- just wandered over from our table a couple minutes befor the fireworks.

Tink did not fly for us :confused3 Maybe due to weather, I don't know. Dissapointing, but it can happen, as you are really just paying for dessert, not entertainment. If Tink's safety was in question, I certainly wouldn't want it comprimised. Still, it would have really made it more worth the price to see her fly right over.

The desserts were very good, and though they were grabbed quickly (and in large quantities) by guests, I thought CM's did a nice job of replacing them as soon as humanly possible. We had plenty to eat, and we were not among the first to get to the buffet.

It was a good thing to try once, don't know if we'd do it again now that the price has increased. Maybe.

well I booked it for my trip and it will be my very first time ever to actually watch all of wishes. I ahve pieces of it while on rides or walking from one ride to another but ahve never sat and watched. This is my perfect excuse. And yes, it was a little pricey but I figured we would skip the CS meal I was thinking of and just have desserts !! we don't eat much for meals anyways but I know with desserts we will.

We were going to do it but it was all booked up for the nights of our stay, except for two nights that were also MNSSHP nights so you'd have to purchase those tickets in addition to the Wishes reservation cost. We weren't planning on doing the Halloween Party this year so no Wishes Dessert party for us...

Have fun if you do go! The pictures certainly do look mouth-watering. :goodvibes
