Greetings,

This is my first post, but I've been reading the boards for several months and you are all tremendously informative! Our trip is much better planned because of your advice to many other posters.

My question is, what exactly is the Wishes Dessert Party? I understand it's on hiatus, with no known return date, but if/when it does return, is it worth going to with young children? I've cobbled together some understanding of what it is from many other posts, but have not seen or been able to find an actual description.

We're going to be there 5/22-5/30, staying at BWV, and my 5 y.o. DD is an absolute princess. She loves all things elegant, is awed by fireworks, and we all enjoy dessert! Is this something that a 5 year old princess: would enjoy? If it does return and is able to be booked for our time there, how competitive is it to get reservations (understanding that we'd all be crammed into the same shortened window for booking if/when the reservations are reopened)? What time has it been traditionally? We have early ADRs most nights, but DD is a night owl so staying up for the fireworks should not be a challenge.

Thanks in advance for your sage advice!

We went to the Dessert Party in July and loved it! You have your own table and there is a very large spread of desserts and non alcoholic beverages. YOu can sit the entire time and enjoy the desserts while watching the fireworks. You can get up to watch the show but you don't have to.
I highly recommend it if it is back when you are there.
