Tomorrow is my day! Have many people had success lately? I am going online at 6AM and trying for it as my first ADR. If that does not work, I am going to try to call at 7AM and see what kind of luck I have. Praying for pixie dust. LOL

I don't know where you live, but remember those times are Eastern time Zone!

Agree with above if your in the UK they are 5hours behind where the reservations are done ....good luck with it and if you don't get it first thing keep trying!

My wife and I have this booked for the night of our Anniversary during September. I had to call the Dining line to make it work but she ended up booking us for three people, reversing the charge for one, and now we have a reservation for two. So, if there is availability for three or four, call 1-407-WDW-DINE and ask about this method. The lady I spoke with was more than happy to make it work.

I was able to get a reservation for 2 on-line this morning for October 28th. I didn't think I'd even have a shot but gave it a try anyway. I was totally surprised when it popped right up with a time.

I ended up doing the book it for 3 and drop 1 from the reservation approach.

Keep in mind that the Dessert Party requires advanced payment. I'm not sure you can cancel it partially. Someone here knows (smart group).

You CAN partially cancel it. We had to cancel the same day as our reservation (due to delayed travel issues) 4 out of our party of 6 & had no problem with that. Funny thing is that I met the family of 4 who snagged our cancelled slots while waiting in line. They were very grateful. So, don't ever give up. People partially cancel all the time.

Not related, but we also had to cancel 2 out of our party of 6 for HDDR & had no problem with that either.

Finally success! I've had to book a table of 3 , one as an infant but it's booked! I am so over the moon my trying multiple times a day had finally paid off!

I JUST did this omg I can't believe I found this a week before we leave !!! I had to make sure it showed up in MDE before I fainted.
We ended up booking the "phantom child" but am now wondering if I should call now to take the third person off or when we check in just make up some lame excuse like "oh our friend is babysitting ?" LOL.
Since there is no charge it shouldn't matter I guess.

Since I booked online and was frantically hoping it wouldn't disappear I just called this morning and said "Plans have changed" LOL.
Within two minutes it was updated in MDE and she asked if we were celebrating anything so mentioned our anniversary so that was awesome too. I am SO excited I forgot to tell my husband before he left for work..oops!

I also have to give kudos for the DIS and this thread..I never would have thought to book a party of 3 then change to 2 people , brilliant idea and so easy!! You guys are amazing.

You can book 180 days prior to your ADR date, unless you are staying on property. Then you can book 180 days from your checkin day, plus you can book for the next ten days or however many days are on your reservation.

Unless you mark the infant as part of your resort reservation it never affected FP selections. Seriously I booked a party of 3 - included the imaginary infant , then called to say plans changed to 2 adults - all done and easy!
I think also FP are linked to an actual ticket - so infants who wouldn't have a ticket are excluded I would imagine anyway

Yep, infants nor any child without a ticket can get FP+. If you REALLY have an infant, and you have a FP+ without height restrictions, a child under 3 can go on the ride with you without a FP+.

Thanks I thought that it was 180 days, but I'm not able to book it online and when I phoned and tried to book I was told that it isn't available yet and the CM didn't know when it would be available.
