Wishes Dessert Party For Summer Dates Released

I know a lot of us are abuzz with the Free Dining Release today, but I just wanted to let everyone know that after I booked free dining, I transferred to the dining department to check on the Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom. I was advised that they had just received a memo this morning that dates were released until August 14th. Sadly, we don't arrive till August 21st, but hopefully this helps those of you going before Free Dining!

Oooh, if they are extending it until Aug. 14th, there may be a good chance that they will extend it again until after Halloween (like they did last year). We will be there in September and am keeping my fingers crossed that they extend it again . We didn't attend last year and I have been kicking myself since.

THe CM i talked to yesterday thought that it would be extended into the fall. She said to keep calling back. we want Sept 14th which is the night we are going to MNSSHP.

That's the same night I am hoping for as well (our MNSSHP night too), so here's to having it extended until then....then at the party we could come by and say hi to you

Thanks to Disboards, I just booked Fireworks Dessert Party for June 25. CM was surprised to see it was available past May! But thanks to these boards, I knew it had just been extended to Aug. 14. Thanks to all the people who make this such a great place to get timely info. I'm guessing these summer parties will fill up fast!

It'll be our first and probably only time to do this dessert buffet, and I'm super excited! Thank you all for being sooo informative!

We booked today for July 25th-My sons third birthday surprise. He told us for his birthday this year he wanted to eat cake at the castle---so we will eat cake, and cookies and any other dessert disney can dream up for us!

I called last week and was able to book for June 5th! She also said they had just got the memo "yesterday" (this was last friday!). I am excited for this and am curious to see if they will still do Spectro that night (with MSELP starting the next day)

If you child is 2 do they eat for "free" off you plate, just like at any other Disney restaurant?

From what I have read elsewhere, yes children two and under eat free (off your plate).

Yes, just booked our reservation for August 13 and we have a child under 2 and they are free.
