I don't think you can do this but thought I would check. Can you use DDP credits for the Wishes Dessert Party? If so, how many credits does it take? Also, can anyone tell me what kinds of desserts are offered?

We are doing it for the first time when we go in 13 Days:banana::cool1: But I know you CANNOT use the DDP, we tried, you have to pay OOP :-(

As far as desserts, well see, from everything Ive read they are good but more-so your paying for a spot to relax and enjoy wishes....;)

no you can't and you can't use other dining discounts either (which sucks since it's just food).

The desserts that are offered are:

cookies
brownies
fresh fruit
donut holes
little chocolate ball things
2 varieties of tarts with fruit on top
chocolate covered strawberries
mango shooters (many people like them, I thought they were disgusting so don't take a big taste if you don't know if you like them)
vanilla mousse cups
chocolate mousse cups
a couple other little chocolate desserts in cups
creme brulee
key lime tarts

there were a few other things but I didn't try everything. You can get full very quickly. If they run out of something you want just ask them for more. They will bring more out to you and put more on the buffet too.

There is also coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate, juices, water, ice tea (sweet and non).

There is also a photopass person there to take castle pics with you and your family.

Thanks! I'm trying to decide if I want to try it for my birthday this year. I will be eating at Le Cellier for lunch. Right now I have ressies at Ohana for dinner, but I would love to not have to leave MK if I can keep from it. I figure I will be full from Le Cellier (especially since we will be on the DxDDP which includes appetizers too). If I do get hungry, I can head over to CHH for a bowl of chowder before the dessert party. It just sounds like a relaxing way to spend the evening. Where exactly does it take place?

I'd skip Ohana that night if I were you...the dessert party is REALLY filling! You can get as much as you want, and of course, you're going to want to try everything, and then go back for seconds of the things you like and you want to have room for all of it!

It takes place on the Tomorrowland terrace, where the Noodle station is (or was? I don't know if it even exists anymore)...when you get to the end of Main Street, you turn right by the Plaza restaurant and keep walking and the Terrace is right there. It is a nice way to relax and watch the fireworks and eat some yummy desserts, I think it's definitely worth doing once!
