That dining rep told me they were all booked up. Very frustrating. Don't want to miss this, as it's my "wish" for this trip.

next time you are told sept is all booked ask them to do a "venue search". That screen shows them the actual tables and how many seats are booked vs not booked.
Initially the cms rec'v only an "unavailable" which, w/o further investigation, they translate as "booked". Some still don't know that disney has not loaded Sept's tables into the system to be booked. It's not really the cm's fault that we know more than they do..... they don't have this thread to learn off of.

When I called on Friday, I got a very intelligent cm who did that very thing. She said, "This doesn't make any sense. Let me do an actual table search to see if any reservations are actually listed." And there were no bookings, even though her original screen said "no availability". On Wishes Dessert Party, she said she thought it was due to them waiting for the "official" MNSSHP dates to post and on the Illuminations Dessert Party, she thinks they are waiting to see if it will be extended into the fall.

Maybe you can "subscribe" to a few threads that you are interested in following, by simply posting "subbing" or "interested too" to the thread. That would increase your post numbers and then hopefully your PM to me will go through

I am also anxious over whether or not FD will be offered for Sept dates this year. We've enjoyed FD on our last few trips and so are kinda spoiled now!
This morning I've been busy "crunching numbers" to see which resort would be a good deal to jump to IF FD is released and it's NOT attached to POR where we are planning on staying. I don't want to have to make the decision "on the fly" on the day FD is released. (if it's released)..... If it's not released for this year then we will just stay with POR and maybe snag a room only discount??

And..... looking at other's difficulty getting FP+ for BOG lunch.... NOT looking forward to that! Sheesh... This TTDP thing seems to be just 1 hurdle...with more to come!

I envy people who just "wing it" for their WDW trips! Sometimes all this planning is stressful! I seem to recall it didn't used to be like this.

Yeah... It looks like I will have to stop "lurking" I guess... Haha...

We called the tour booking a couple weeks ago (Marceline to Magic Kingdom)and were told that they did not expect it to be open until May... So, you can imagine my surprise when I checked and it allowed me to select the dates, but said it was all booked up! I tried to get this reservation last September too and had the same issue where no one could give me an exact date for it to open. In fact, I called one day and they said... "Oh definitely not until 90 days out)... So, I checked on the 90th day... guess what... It had opened the day after I called... What horrendous luck... Hopefully I can get it this time ::fingers crossed::

I hope free dining is offered as well... I sat down with my fiancé and we have a list of our top 5 options for free dining and our top 5 for room discounts. We LOVE French quarter, but it seems that it hasn't been include in any of the recent specials... (unless you get a pin... which we did... Just for the wrong dates.. drats!)... I have heard that IF they are going to though, it should happen pretty soon.

We have been calling and checking every day. Some of us for a month our more. Everything after Sept 7 th is on hold because of MNSSHP. It is a different situation than what you had. I believe you picked up a cancellation.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of you. It's terrible to do all the work you are doing to try and get a Rez and not be able to get in.

I am in the same boat. According to the site below Disney has historical had free dining offers that cover all of Sept. since 2009. The CM's I have spoke to will not confirm but say there is a good chance Sept. should be covered again. Hope they are right!

We did the same thing last September 2013 with waiting for free dining. Luckily we did land during the time frame and I was able to save over $1000.00 This time we booked the bounceback and have free dining off that. I think you and I are there at the same time so I'm crossing my fingers for you that they will run the FD again

I didn't use to do this craziness either. I used to just wing it. We have gone so often now that it is time to have new experiences and not just do the rides. My older daughter laughs at me and I told her you have no idea what goes into these vacations and especially to get these reservations. By the way I am hoping for POR w/FD. I am going 9/12-9/20 when will you be there.?

Has anyone noticed a correlation between bounce back/pins and what actually occurs throughout the year for everyone else? Like, If pin codes are being sent out for FD for September.. Is it more likely that it will be released for everyone or does it seem to not matter?
