Just received another email reply to my ongoing emails today. This CM reiterated that the party is a 90 day booking. I don't know what these people are smoking! Ugh!

oooh this is making me so mad!!
I'd write back and tell him/her to call 407-939-1947 about 25-30 times (like each of us has done these past weeks) and tell him/her to ask EACH Reservation Specialist if TT Dessert Party is a 90 or 180 ADR. After she's completed that then she should get back to you with the results!!!

Also, ask this CM to explain all the people that have EXISTING ADRs for August!!!

Joining the waiting for September to open up club
Been calling and sending emails like others have suggested. All they say is keep checking back. Hopefully we all get it when it does open up! It has only been a week for me, but understand the frustration. Won't make or break trip. Just wish I wouldn't have told hubby, now he's on my case about getting it.

I love this idea! I'm going to take today off from emailing as I need my blood pressure to calm down a little about this whole mess. So glad that I'm not alone in all of this madness. Here's to more waiting for the dates to open up

Okay the more I thought about it I figured...why not send a email today and stop my streak of dessert party stalking so below is a copy of what I just sent. I hate to be this naggy person but considering I am basically begging to throw my hard earned money at Disney I'm getting a little frustrated.

While I can appreciate that some events are a 90 day booking this does not explain to me why there are people who have September 7th reservations for the Dessert party. You may want to call 1-407-939-3463
And talk to the cast members in Dining as I was just told again that this is indeed at 180 day booking event but the party has not been opened up past September 7, 2014 for atleast five different reasons now.
If you do not indeed know the answer to my questions can you please forward this email onto a supervisor or someone who can help me or atleast give me a solid answer as to when this booking will
Be available or if it will not be at all so I can quit waking up everymorning at 5:00 am to call and stop emailing these questions only to get standard answers that are not even correct?

I think all this is due to Stitch escaping! After the Dessert Party is in Tomorrowland, where his ride is!! He's playing one of his mischeivous tricks on us. Hear him laughing?
I tried calling "Reese" again yesterday-- person who emailed me asked her to call. She is still away from the office due to family emergency. Now another Wed has passed so my next opportunity will not be until Saturday. Not that I'm expecting some great revelation of info.... prob will tell me the same as she told another poster here (forget who) .... that it's due to the Halloween party schedule not being finalized. But I want to speak to her anyway and tell them how "Un Magical" this is! Not the end of the world and won't ruin my trip if I don't get it but geez... if you add up the time I've spent on phone calls and emails it's probably MORE time than I will be spending at the darn Dessert Party..... assuming I get in!

Thanks for posting. I probably will try this afternoon just for the heck of it. Afterall, my day wouldn't be complete without a call in to Disney Dining Reservations!!!

Thought I would pass this on.

So I had this booked for April 17 and they just called and canceled it on me. Said it was a scheduling error and the fireworks time being wrong. Said desserts would end up after fireworks Another girl going that week had this happen too.

I was offered "vip lawn seats" in the Rose Garden, a dessert box with rice krispies, key lime pie, and strawberry shortcake. Kds get banana pudding, rice krispies, and apple slices.(There might have been more, she was talking fast.) The other option was for the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert party free of charge. They also said I would be able to get into Epcot even if I didn't have park admission.

I am also being fully refunded.

Something is definitely going on with the party. When I called this morning the CM said the dates had not been loaded yet, but she wasn't sure why. She said she had the mnsshp dates and checked to see if the date I wanted was a party date. When she confirmed that it wasn't a party date (end of September) she said she wasn't sure why the dates weren't loaded and that I should try back in a couple of days.

I'm starting to think there might not be a party during this time. Maybe the hub construction will interfere with the Terrace.

That's disappointing they cancelled on you but are you happy w your alternatives they gave? That almost sounds worth getting cancelled on... Not trying to sound insensitive but the Sparkling Dessert Party is $$$. Did their offer make it up to you in your mind at least?

Oh they more than made it up to me. They could have just said either take the dessert box or get nothing lol I was on the fence about the Illuminations party before, and the price kept me from booking it, so I am excited to get to try it. Plus they said they would get us into Epcot even if we didn't have tickets so that was awesome. I had been looking forward to the Wishes party since I tried to get it for July last year though. I really hope it's not leaving for good, I want to try it at least once! lol

So I am really sad and kind of excited all at the same time right now

I phrased my question carefully- initially I was gonna be like, "that's so legit!!" but I didn't know if you were really upset or not.

In my experience when Disney makes a snafu they do a great job not only making it up to you but often going beyond.

When I was in high school the Dolphin put us facing the air conditioners when we booked pool view or something. When we went back to lobby they then upgraded us to a huge corner suite w view of Boardwalk- maybe even Epcot I can't remember. And also gave us vouchers for bluezoo and The Fountain. We were hoping they'd screw something else up during the rest of the trip lol
