Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Just wondering. Does anyone know, if the park closes due to reaching capacity (typically happens on 12/25 when I booked our wishes desert party) will I still be able to get in to get to the wishes desert party I just paid for??? Maybe I should change it

I had a bad experience last year, we booked when it just so happened the very merry christmas party on the same date (member services did not tell me this when I reserved over the phone) and disney cast members would NOT let us into the park without a ticket to the party. So now I am a little nervous about not being let in!

If it was a party night you would have to have a ticket to the party..if it is regular night, park admission is required. Stages of closure apply.

Okay, I could not handle that kind of stress so I just called member services and they switched my reservation to the 26th instead. We don't plan on being at the MK on Christmas day since it's so crowded and also have dinner reservations at a resort out of the park so not such a good idea.

There is no telling if and when it reaches the stage 4 phase, and I know from experience that even though you are paying in advance they will not let you into the park under certain circumstances. Last year we accidentally booked wishes desert party the same day as very merry Christmas party (which so happened to be sold out) and even though I begged and pleaded that I had already paid for the wishes party they would absolutely not let us in. I don't need a repeat experience!!

Got our party of 12 booked for Friday, Jan 24th at 7pm.

Can't wait!!!! Getting closer to the double digit dance!!

oh no, I only made a reservation for 3, but will they let my wife in with twins in her belly? Ha. Maybe I need another two top .

I feel sorry for anyone who was expecting plenty of sweets on 12/3. The twins are hungry.

Congrats on the twins! Hmmm...if you wife gets as big as I did with my identical girls, you may find you need that extra two top just for her to fit, lol. And I only made it to 29 weeks with them, but felt like I was as big as a parade float!

Enjoy those babies....don't blink or suddenly you'll be visiting colleges with them!

Finally! I got 12/2, 8pm.

Just made my reservation for 12 on dec 2!!! I'm still shaking! Lol. I think I've got issues!!

No it doesn't matter. It only matter when you book. Right now, MDE won't let us book because we can't change party size. It's stuck on 2

We're going the same night & I booked over the phone. She didn't give me a time. She just said be there an hour before the fireworks.

Does anyone know what time the fireworks are on 12/3? It's a MVMCP night.

I think 9:30. We booked for that night too. I'm still a touch hesitant to do it on a party night with the parade & all. Has anyone ever been on a party night?

Wow...I wonder if they're finally going to stop treating it as something separate and make it so that you can book them as early as other reservations.

Just spoke with a CM & she said they are now going to start at 180 days out. So those who are going in the next 6 months may want to check it out.
