ETA: We will be staying at the Poly when we go, so is Wishes "worth it" for us?

To answer your second question, it's hard to say. Tinkerbell flies right above you at the dessert party which is pretty cool. Personally if I had the choice between watching from the party and watching from a room in the Hawaii building I wouldn't bother with the party!

I loved watching Wishes multiple times from my Hawaii TPV room, but it's still not the same as watching in the park. Not at all.

I loved watching Wishes multiple times from my Hawaii TPV room, but it's still not the same as watching in the park. Not at all.

It's an amazing experience tho, loved not being in the middle of the crowds too!!!

Not in the rooms or on the TV, but there are speakers near the beach and the Hawaii building. One time our room was right near the speaker so we heard Wishes every night, even when we didn't care to!

I am so looking forward to watching the fireworks from the Poly beach but I still want to do the Dessert Party cause the view from there was sp spectacular.

I can't wait to get this booked!! After booking Kids Nite Out yesterday, this is LITERALLY my last reservation to make before our Sept/Oct trip.

And no offense to anyone HERE, but I could REALLY use a break from DIS for a while... negativity in a lot of the threads gets to me after a while.

But just joy and anticipation here (mixed with a teensy bit of frustration, maybe? LOL!)!!

Amen! I keep telling myself after I book this desert party I am taking a break from the dis boards for a while! But to be honest I don't think the break will come until after our trip!
