Wishes Dessert Buffet Kinda DVC-related

I just called MS to see if I could make a reservation for the Wishes Dessert Buffet for my November trip. (I had heard on the restaurant board that they've finally extended the dates.) The lady in MS I spoke with said that she hadn't heard about any extension, but she put me on hold to check. She then said that it has not been extended. So, I called the Disney Dining number, and that person said that it's been extended to November 1st. Of course, I don't need it until the 3rd, so I guess I have to wait a while longer to see if they extend it further. .

Anyway, I thought if any DVC'ers are interested in this, that I'd let them know to call Disney Dining and not MS to get a reservation. Hopefully MS will get the update on it soon.

Interesting. DisneyParks just sent out a tweet saying it ends Friday (8/28).

The Disney Food Blog has confirmed that it's extended through the end of Oct.

Just spoke with Disney Dining and had it confirmed that the Wishes Dessert Party has been extended through the end of October! Call WDW-DINE to book (it’s news to a lot of the booking agents, so just be persistent!)

(Call soon! There are some dates in September that are already sold out!)

FYI: 24-hour cancellation, cost for two adults was $46.

I received the same tweet as the previous poster, but just received another tweet from Disney Parks with a link from Disney that they have extended the Wishes Dessert Party through the end of October.

Sorry that this extension will not work for your November vacation.

For those of you visiting in October, you can call 407-WDW-DINE for reservations.

I'm so glad they extended! I just booked a party of 9 for our trip. It's a surprise for my mom and she is going to be thrilled!
