Wishes Dessert Buffet and Parade

So if you attend the buffet you miss the parade??? Just wondering.

We just did the dessert party last week, and were able to see the MSEP as it got close to the castle. This was our second experience with the dessert party, and it was even lovelier than the first time! Love that pistachio creme brulee!

You are at a distance, and all those people who camped out on Main Street are between you and it. You can see the tops of the floats but not really much detail and almost nothing at street-level.

So is it possible (or make any sense) to watch the parade right by the castle and walk over to the buffet right when it ends?

It has been a while since I've seen the parade and forget how long it lasts.

Thanks for the answers. I guess we'll miss the Dessert Party this time since I missed the Main Street Electrical Parade last year and I really want to see it again. I will keep the Dessert Party on my list of things to do for another time.

It is *possible* but I wouldn't advise it. You could easily miss the first entire half of the buffet party time. A good bit of what you are paying for is the chance to spend a nice hour sitting down, nibbling desserts and sharing some time with your group. Fighting the Main Street crowd to rush in half an hour or more late means by the time you load up one plate MM&Y will be starting.

If you do choose to do this, have one party member go to the podium before the Party starts and tell the CMs your plans so they don't think you are no-shows. I don't know if they might even give your table to a walk-up.
