Is the Wishes Desert Party at MK worth it? Thinking about booking for October and not sure if we should do it or not. It will be me, hubby, father-in-law and 5yr old daughter.

Thoughts?

I think you have to think about it from two perspectives. First is the food itself: Are the dessert offerings worth $27, or could the average person eat $27 worth of food? Probably not. But second, you have to look at the experience, and having a "private" space to watch the fireworks. When you combine the two, we thought it was worth it. It was nice to have a relatively uncrowded space -- a prime viewing space -- to watch the Wishes fireworks, and also have some nice desserts just before the show starts. And at the end of the night, you can hang back for a few minutes and let most of the Main Street crowd make its way toward the exit before entering the fray.

We did this for my daughter's birthday last year, thought it was worth it. Looking to do it again in December, can someone tell me can you book this on line now or still have to call?

Well I was just discussing this with my family. We went back in August 2009 and at the time for that price I thought it was worth it. At this time my family and I do not think the experience justifies the price and we are glad we did it before they raised the prices. Just our opinion of course :)
