Wishes desert party pictures....

Here it is, the moment you have all been waiting for, the Dessert Party! We had a great night, no lines for anything, Space Mountain was not open last night but we will catch that later. Weather was gorgeous, everything was perfect! We arrived at the Noodleland Station thing around 8:30 and they sat us right away, there were 2 other couples there already and we were not supposed to show up until 8:50. Our table was directly under the wire that TinkerBelle flies on, the view was unreal....our name tag with Mickey confetti was on the table.

This is the best spot to watch the fireworks...you can sorta see the parade but not much. THey had 3 dessert tables and some of the same desserts were on each table. They had one long table with Ice Tea, Cocoa, Coffee, Assorted Teas, Water, Milk, Lemonade and assorted juices. You can go up as many times as you want. I was shocked at how empty it was, maybe 18 tables at the most, and out of that the majority was a table of 2.

I will give you this bit of advice, if you are going to do this party go hungry and have a very early dinner...there is just way too much to try!

The fruit was ok...not that tasty and a bit soft

Dinner064.jpg

Tiramisu, this was awesome! We each enjoyed this and had to get a second one.

Dinner067.jpg

Mango shooter...for those of you with babies it tastes like Gerber Peaches or if you went to the F&W this year it tastes like the Mango drink from India...it was excellent and very refreshing

Dinner068.jpg

Cheesecake, this was gross and tasted sour

Dinner069.jpg

Pumpkin Cheesecake..this was INCREDIBLE! I am a lover of all things pumpkin so I was beyond thrilled when I spied this among the throngs of treats...it was my favorite of the night

Dinner071.jpg

This is DH's plate...from 12 o'clock and going around, chocolate banana tart (this was gross), tiramisu (awesome), pumpkin cheesecake (to die for), cannolli (very good, crisp shell but the cream was too citrusy for me), cheesecake (BLECH!), chocolate peanut butter tart (wow the filling was amazing but we didnt like the shell), chocolate strawberry (how can this be bad? It was delish!), mango shooter in the middle (great and refreshing)

Dinner066.jpg

Here is my plate, from 12 o'clock and going around, rice krispie square (gross, very very stale), mango shooter, chocolate strawberry, brownie (very rich and fudgy, loved it), chocolate cheesecake (great!), chocolate chip cookie (very greasy and dry at the same time)

Overall we had so much fun at the Dessert Party, yummy treats, a PhotoPass Person right there for us with no lines, we chilled out for an hour and just had a nice time together..

Would I do this again? Sure would but not on every trip...maybe once a year or a special occasion.

For any of you who go to this party have a wonderful time and bring your hollow leg!

OMG, Twinnings tea! And pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate cheesecake. I can't wait! I have reservations for this on October 9th. I definitely plan to bring my hollow leg-my sweet tooth is always with me, so I know I'll really be getting my money's worth. I have a couple questions about how this works. First, when they told you what time to show up (like I got told "Wishes is at 10:00, so show up at 9:00") did you show up AT the time they said, or did you get there 10-15 minutes ahead of that expecting a line. Second, I'm wondering about the seating. Since I'm going as a solo, I'm wondering whether I'll get my own little table for one, or whether I'll be seated with others? Are all the tables marked with who's sitting there? And I wonder if anyone's afraid that while they're up getting food, someone else will come and sit at their table. I guess I'm not too sure how this will work. Maybe worrying about all this will burn off some calories and increase my appetite for all those goodies!

Yum! Those pictures are so good. I can't wait to do this is December. After all these years, I'll finally get to see the fireworks. :goodvibes

The smaller tables are up front along the ledge, nothing to obstruct your view, they seat 1-2 people. The larger tables are behind that first row of tables. All the tables have Mickey confetti and a very nice name tag with a picture of the Castle with the lights on.

Most people ate and left before the fire works started. No one took our table (there was hardly anyone there that night) but the bus boy was over eager to clean the table and took off with my tea!

Once the fireworks started people started moving to empty tables but that was only because alot of people left.

You mean some people come for the Wishes dessert party, eat the desert, then leave before the fireworks? If so, can someone explain why people would do that? I could see it happening rarely-someone's tired, not feeling well, etc. But otherwise, I'm amazed and confused.

But thanks so much for telling me about the fact thatmost of the small tables are up front. Sounds like I might get to sit at my table covered with the desserts I'm eating while I have a great view of the fireworks.

We did this a couple weeks ago. We were told to come at 9:00 for 10:00 fireworks but check-in began at 8:45. People were given wristbands and escorted to their tables. We had the best view and were able to remain at our table throughout the 9:00 parade and 10:00 fireworks. It was not a good view of the parade but the fireworks view was great and Tink flew right over our heads. The fruit was wonderful and so were the desserts. I didn't notice anyone leaving before the fireworks. A few people moved up to the railing to view the fireworks. When the show was over we stayed in our seats for a while waiting for the crowds to dissipate somewhat. No one disturbed us. I was rested enough to walk back to CR which I wouldn't have been able to do if I had been standing on Main Street that whole time.
